In Her Own Words: Kjerstan A., Caregiver
Background
Kjerstan comes from a family of four girls - she’s the youngest. She has two adult children and two 4-legged children. She went back to school to get her Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certificate. She loves spending time with friends and family.
Kjerstan has always enjoyed helping others and wants to keep them in their homes as long as possible.
Day In The Life Of A Caregiver
Kjerstan really loves having conversations with her clients and learning about their life. She loves putting together puzzles and helping out when she’s needed most. Making a connection with her clients is really fulfilling.
“I love going to work and meeting a client for the first time,” Kjerstan said. “It’s like an instant bond. My clients make the hours go by fast, and are pure joy to be around.”
