In Her Own Words: Adrianna O., Caregiver

Background

Adrianna went to ministry college in Oklahoma City. As one of nine siblings, she has had a lot of life experiences inside a large family. She chose to become a caregiver because she loves helping people, loves the perspective it gives her, and how it’s changed her outlook on life.

Day In The Life Of A Caregiver

Adrianna shared with us this story:

“I had a couple I was caring for before they passed. Just seeing the love they shared for each other was beautiful. They would always give me a hug when I arrived, throughout the shift, and before I left. She would always give me a kiss on the cheek and tell me she loved me. It felt like I was a part of the family, and all because I helped care for them in their time of need.”

Adrianna added that she loves the life stories her clients share with her: their life lessons, accomplishments, and happy moments through the years.
